A room block has been set aside for lodging at the Albany Marriott (conference host hotel). Rate is $104+tax per room night/single double, available Sunday March 4 through Thursday March 8. Lodging rooms typically go fast for this event, so be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible (cut off date for the room block is February 22, 2012, but block may be filled by then).

ALBANY/Wolf Road information microsite
The Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau has established a microsite for information on dining, lodging, transportation, sightseeing, maps, weather and more for the Wolf Road/Albany area, where the conference is to be held.
AMTRAK Discounts
Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to (Albany, NY) between (March 03, 2012 – March 11, 2012). To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent.
Conventions cannot be booked via Internet. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X74I-939 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

MEGABUS Option
NYSTVA's newest member, Coach USA/Megabus.com, invites attendees to check out their travel fares between NYC and Albany, on www.megabus.com. Their own recent checks of their reservation page for one-way Megabus travel on March 6th returning on March 8th showed tickets available for $3, $5, $10, and $15, depending on the desired time of departure. Amenities include free WiFi, power outlets and wheelchair accessibility.
