2011-2012 Tourism Funding
- I Love NY Tourism Marketing - $3.6 M (reduction of $400,000 from 2010-2011 budget)
- Tourism Matching Grant - $3.815 M (same level as last year)
- Gateway Centers - $392,000
- VLT Aid to municipalities: Elimination of VLT aid to municipalities except Yonkers. Senate restores that aid for those municipalities. 45 percent of their SFY 2008-09 level. In addition, those municipalities that have more than $400 million credits played per month at their VLT facility would receive 50 percent of their SFY 2008-09 aid in SFY 2011-12.
- Regional Councils - $130 M for capital expenditures; will be established pursuant to an Executive Order by the Governor.
