The New York State Travel & Vacation Association and the Tourism Industry Coalition of New York State will be welcoming tourism industry professionals for a joint presentation of the annual Empire State Tourism Conference and Tourism Action Day in Albany, NY, Tuesday March 1 - Thursday March 3, 2011.

On March 1, 2011, the Tourism Industry Coalition of New York State (TIC) —
18 association and industry-supporting organizations whose main goal is to represent the tourism industry on key legislative and regulatory issues — will host the Tourism Action Day at the Hart Lounge, in the Egg, Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY. A luncheon will kick off a day of visits by representatives from tourist destinations and promotion agencies to legislators, to discuss how important tourism is to our local economies.

On March 2, 2011, NYSTVA will host the Empire State Tourism Conference, an engaging day of professional development seminars, networking opportunities, trade show with industry-allied vendors, and an awards banquet. This has become THE premier statewide tourism industry conferencing event.

March 3, 2011 is tentatively scheduled for a breakfast event with speaker
